Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") are intended to define the terms of use of the Readii mobile application (hereinafter "the Application"), published by Pierre-Julien Harbonnier (hereinafter "the Publisher"). Use of the Application implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Account Creation and Management

The use of certain features requires the creation of a user account. The user must provide a valid email address and choose a password. Passwords are stored securely (hashed). The user undertakes to provide accurate information and not to impersonate a third party.

3. Personal Data

The Application collects and stores certain personal data (email address, hashed password, language preferences, saved vocabulary, activity in the Application). The processing of this data is governed by the Readii Privacy Policy, accessible separately.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Application automatically generates content and translations using artificial intelligence systems. This content may contain errors, approximations or inconsistencies. The user acknowledges that this information is provided for informational purposes only and cannot engage the Publisher's liability. The Application should not be used as the sole source for important decisions (education, health, finance, etc.).

5. Illustrations and Images

The Application illustrates certain content with royalty-free images. These images are used for illustration purposes only and are not necessarily directly related to the events described. The Publisher disclaims any responsibility for misinterpretation of these illustrations.

6. Authorized and Prohibited Use

The user undertakes to use the Application in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms. It is prohibited in particular to: Use the Application for fraudulent or illegal purposes. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to servers or databases. Copy, distribute or modify the Application without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

All elements constituting the Application (code, interface, design, generated content) remain the exclusive property of the Publisher. Any unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited. The user remains the owner of their personal data and their recorded vocabulary.

8. Paid Services

The Application is currently free. If paid services (subscriptions, in-app purchases) are offered later, their conditions (price, duration, termination, refund) will be clearly communicated before any subscription.

9. Termination

The user can delete their account at any time via the Application settings or by contacting the Publisher. The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of non-compliance with these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is" and without warranty of permanent availability. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of the Application, including in case of data loss or service unavailability.

11. Modification of Terms

The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any changes via the Application or by email.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Publisher's jurisdiction.
